I’m trying to alleviate some of the covid induced lockdown woes by regularly writing music and jamming. This video shows a short ambient jam, based on a patch on the odyssey that inspired the rest. As always I’m not a real player (obviously) but hopefully there are some sounds, tones and ideas that you like. Very simple piece really. All the synths go direct to logic via my interface, except the odyssey, which goes through the Strymon big sky (cloud patch). Then into logic with a bit of limiting but nothing else. The Sub 37 is creating the waves, the brute and the prophet team up on bass/drone duties, the grandmother has a sequence going (very subtle – probably not worth it) and the lead is the odyssey.
